Olives LP

Art direction, film direction and marketing strategy for Christopher Wishlade’s 2nd LP.

In the summer of 2019, my friend Christopher was wrapping up his second full length LP. Having worked on his previous musical efforts he reached out to me to once again helm the art direction for his most self reflective work yet.

The brief was formed around the concept of parental peace and wisdom, brought upon by the birth of his children, hence the title “Olives”. We paired the olive green color with a light pink, and since we both agreed that this was a “daytime album” we decided to utilize the pink as the primary theme color while having accents of olive green. Using his family as his creative drive we decided upon using them in the imagery of the album.
